Eco Friendly Resort

Our concepts are nothing but the environment friendly unique features intended to truly live our lifestyle in the nature’s way. These are the techniques selectively picked up by us based on our ancient treasure of knowledge. Though, with changing times, many of them have disappeared from our daily routine, they are proven based on their usefulness, productivity and play a worthy role in improving human being’s life. Cottage Designs

Cottage Designs

  • Construction materials and other resources goes closest to natural objects and are maximum eco-friendly.

  • Cottage walls built with local red stones. This is more environment friendly option compare to soil bricks as it saves valuable fertile soil and requires less cement to build compare to soil bricks.

  • The flooring is made up of high-grade Rajasthani Kota stone ordered directly from the mines in Rajasthan. The roof of cottages is built in sloping directions using natural soil tiles.

  • All these things play an important role in keeping the cottage naturally cooler so there is no need of artificial air conditioning. Each cottage is built with adequate ventilation designed to let warmer air pass out rapidly.

  • There is reasonable distance maintained among cottages, which is then filled with natural elements.

  • Each room contains separate toilet and bathroom blocks so that the hygiene remains maintained and tourists can save their time.

Our beds for sleeping are not conventional beds. Instead, we have constructed them using local red stone blocks. They are then packed with combination of fine grade filtered smooth soil mixed in certain proportion with Indian cow’s dung and some herbs.


This unique bedding system has some premium advantages, which acts for enhancing the quality of sleep and helps to sleep soundly. In Ayurveda, there are numerous medicinal properties mentioned about the Indian cow’s dung, the explanation of which is beyond the scope of this page.


The bedding provided is the special Rajasthani hand-made bedding known as “Patharani”. It allows you to rest all your body parts perfectly on the bed and helps to have a quality sleep resulting in extra freshness, the next day.

The unique dense nature is the worship of God to the land of Konkan. One must come here to have the authentic experience of living in the surroundings of this precious nature. Our resort also, allows our guests to live, to breathe and to de-stress in the cleanest environment of Konkan.


In the resort area of 4 acres, we have left over 90% areas only for the natural elements. The entire resort area is provided with the natural pathways constructed with soil and stones.


A plenty of spectacular and fragrant climbers, herbs, shrubs and trees are cultivated throughout the area. Each cottage is “furnished” with neatly landscaped lawns where you can spend a very beautiful morning or evening with your family.

  • Tamrapaatra (Pronounced: Taa-mra-paa-tr | Sanskrit: ??????????) is a specially made copper bucket used solely for bathing.

  • In Indian culture, copper is having an important role in our day-to-day life. Copper is well known for its capability of being resistant to bacteria and germs.

  • For thousands of years, our Yogis and Sadhus were using the copper pot to store their drinking water. It was also used widely for bathing and Panchakarma purposes.

  • Just come to our resort and you will not need any “time machine” to experience such antique way of bathing.

On the festive occasion of Diwali, we make a special traditional bath what we call it as Abhyang Snana. The herbal powder made up of various relevant ingredients taken from plants or herbs, is called as Ubtan (Pronounced: U-ba-ta-n) (Sanskrit: ???? | Marathi: ????). It is a proven Ayurvedic remedy being used for centuries.


Our Ubtan is completely natural, contains no harmful chemicals like in soap. The numerous advantages of Ubtan over using a soap bar have made it an obvious position in the catalogue of Panthastha™ Prangan™ Concepts. Surprised? We are committed and believe in providing clean and pure drinking water to our Guests. Still we do not sell packaged drinking water in our resort. Even if it is a very beneficial aspect in hospitality business, we prefer the “greener” side over the monetary benefits.


The main intention behind this, is to give our environment our little helping hand to save. The wastage of used water bottles is one of the biggest hazards to our environment and contributes major in pollution.


Many countries are now awaken towards this issue and now working to find out a greener solution for packaged bottles. We have also set up our own advanced RO Water Purification Plant to serve our valuable Guests with better hygienic drinking water.

Not only for natural beauty, but also, Konkan is famous for the delicious food items. Our resort is a perfect place in Dive Agar to get fine quality of pure vegetarian dining. Natural drinks available at our resort are a far better & healthier option to artificial soft drinks like coke. Solkadhi made from coconut & milk, Kokam Sharbat made from the Kokam fruit, are just few examples of what we serve in natural drinks.


Our homemade spices making a firm base for hygiene and quality of food and giving a homely touch to the food. We cook all food in branded rice bran oil only. This cooking oil has many dietary advantages over other cooking oils.
